Brindlewood Bay - Community Cookbook

The Brindlewood Bay Community Cookbook is a real, functional cookbook, with recipes submitted by characters from the town of Brindlewood Bay. The book is also a solo mystery game: each page has notes from a Murder Maven written in the margins; you’ll use those notes as clues to solve a cold case murder that happened in the town many years ago.

It's designed so that it actually looks like a cookbook you might find at, say, a church fundraiser. The fonts are intentionally terrible, the layout charmingly unprofessional. The recipes are submitted by characters you meet in the mysteries from the main game, which makes the cookbook an artifact from this fictional universe. And it's a solo mystery game! Follow along with the notes in the margins to solve the case.

The Brindlewood Bay Community Cookbook (Kickstarter Exclusive) is a 78-page spiral-bound hardcover designed as an add-on for the original Kickstarter campaign. Authored by David Morrison, Mario Croner, and Kristen LaFreniere, this indie role-playing game supplement showcases unique, crowdfunded content published by The Gauntlet.

Measuring 8.5 by 6.25 inches with a 1-inch depth, it offers a distinctive addition to the Brindlewood Bay series.
