10/14/2015 - The Blog about Pre-orders

For those of you who attended NYCC I hope you have had time to rest! I finally got to go this year and it was pretty interesting! I had the chance to meet a few vendors I was interested in working with so here's hoping that may pan out!

Biggest order of business - Pre-Orders are now available! As I navigate how this integration works there will be a limited selection of items for now. These pre-orders will require a 50% deposit to secure your selections. The remaining 50% will be charged once your order is packaged and ready to ship!

Crowdfunding Campaigns are, as always, a little up in the air as to when they will ship out so I will also try to give anyone who does pre-order a reminder of when to expect the second charge to be processed. I am also going to limit those pre-orders to either companies with a long record of fulfilling campaigns relatively on time, or those which have notified backers that shipping is imminent. 

For full transparency, the risks involved are generally delays in shipping at the last minute, or receiving damaged inventory. So far, I have never had a campaign refuse to provide replacement inventory for damaged goods, so keeping fingers crossed that that trend continues. 

And of course, with the way the economy is going, there will always be the option to cancel your pre-order, no questions asked, for a full refund of your deposit.
